Color Up, Look Hot & Fresh!

Spring make up is all about looking fresh and bright without the high-shine of previous season. Make up is still glossy, but you want more of a "dewy" effect on your cheeks, eyes and lips.

Hot Pink:
Pink is definitely the hottest color of the season, followed closely by violets, reds, corals and peaches. Put it on your lips, eyes and cheeks for a girly look that's anything but innocent. Give your eyes an edge by combining this season's hot pink shades with eyeliner and two coats of mascara - lush lashes will add instant glamour to those girly pink eyes!

Look Polished:
Looking fresh starts with perfect features - make sure your brows are tidy and well shaped, lips are smooth and shining, and your eyes are bright and bag-free.

On Your Lips:
Pink and coral are the hot colors for everyday lips this season, and for night: red, red, and red! Lips should be looking lush and rich to compliment this season's dramatic eyes, so choose a lippy that's rich in colour and shine (try f.e. Maybelline's new Water Shine Diamonds).

Go Tropical:
Hawaiian prints and bright geometrics are all over the spring/summer fashion collections this season, so finish it off with tropical eyes. Blues, greens, violets and oranges are combined with lush lashes and dark lined eyes for a dramatic look that's guaranteed to get attention.

At the Beach:
Keep your look minimal and natural - lip gloss and tinted moisturiser are all you need to hit the beach this summer. Remember - if it smears in water, it isn't going to look good at the beach!

Shine on at Work:
Color is great for weekends and nights out, but most workplaces aren't going to be too keen on you showing up at a meeting with bright pink eyes! Working girls should stick to the glittering eye shadows and subtle browns and greys of last season and finish the look with black eyeliner and mascara.

Tanned and Terrific:
Sunbathing is out, but you can still give you skin a healthy summer glow with a good self tan lotion. Slip on a layer in the morning, give it 10 minutes to dry and you're ready to go!
